Fulfill a bucket list moment with a beautiful hot air balloon ride over Park City. You'll be shuttled from the resort to the launch site, where you'll take in stunning views of Park City Mountain and Utah’s Olympic Park during an hour-long flight.

Meet your flight team at Black Rock Mountain Resort, centrally located near Park City, UT. Before the adventure begins, the pilots will choose the best launch site for the conditions that day. From there, we will shuttle you to that site where you can enjoy the magic of the gentle giants coming to life. Experience views of Park City Mountain and Utah’s Olympic Park like never before with an estimated one-hour balloon flight.

You can plan on being back at the resort a total of 3 hours from the meeting time. Bring your family and friends, and don't forget your camera; you'll want to share your pictures with everyone!

  • How do I book a hot air balloon ride?

    Call our front desk at 435-575-1700​​​​​​, and an agent will make the reservation on your behalf. Easy and seamless!

  • When will we launch?

    Flight times vary throughout the year based upon sunrise and sunset times. For sunrise flights, we meet 30 minutes before sunrise. Pickup location will be in the parking lot at Black Rock Mountain Resort.

  • What are the age requirements?

    All participants must be over the age of 5 years old.

  • How long is the flight?

    Roughly 45 min - 1 hour, depending on the wind directions and speed that morning.

  • How long is the whole experience?

    About 3 - 3.5 hours, including transportation to/from the launch and landing site, set up and pack up of our equipment.

  • What should I wear?

    Dress for an outdoor adventure, like a hike. Closed-toe shoes, long loose pants, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, etc. The temperature in the air is roughly the same on the ground due to us traveling with the wind (so you don't get a wind chill) and the burners acting like a fireplace.

  • How many people will be in the basket with me?

    Our largest basket holds up to 12 people, and it is partitioned in the center, so 6 people stand on one side, 6 on the other; that way, everyone has a view!
